CHEVROLET CAMARO/PONTIAC G8 ALIGNMENT TECH TIPS
www.PeddersUSA.com 248-522-8021 Compiled by Rob Anderson
Bushing Timing: If the car has been lowered the bushings must be timed to the new ride
height, refer to Bushing Timing Tech Sheet for more info on that.
Wretched Spec is only for cars that have the Full Pedders Bushing Kits installed with the
HD Bolt Kits . You will not likely achieve these specs without the bolt kits. The Wretched
Specs are not written in stone, and are only as a base to start with.
Rear Camber/Toe: It is best to adjust both together using two wrenches, Loosen the bolts
enough so you can move the eccentrics, but not loose enough that they move by
themselves. Once you get the readings you want you can then tighten one and the other
should stay in place. Be sure the eccentric washers are all showing the wide part down.
Rear Thrust Angle: High HP Cars may need to tweak the thrust angle for the Drag settings
to compensate for going off center during launch.
Front Camber: Adjust Front Camber by loosening the clevis bolts (B) then using the
camber adjusting bolt (A) to achieve desired camber. (Camaro does not come with this
from the factory, but is part of the Pedders bolt Kit). Camaro’s should have the rear
camber set to ½ what the front is (except for Drag) to achieve proper balance. Tire wear
will be an issue over -1.5 Camber. Use a temporary bolt for aligning if one is not present.
Caster: Max it out, as much as you can get it good.
Front Toe: Track settings on Toe are not meant for daily driving, they will wear tires more
than you want on a street car, but it will handle well at the track.

FORWARD THINKING.
General Motors continues to invest in technologies that reduce greenhouse gas emissions and lessen
the dependence on petroleum. Beyond today’s hybrids and alternative fuel solutions, GM is developing
game-changing technology with the upcoming Volt plug-in electric car and a test fl eet of zero-emissions
Hydrogen Fuel Cell Vehicles already on the road.
GM also demonstrates its commitment to environmental sustainability by the way it produces this brochure.
Research has told us that people like you continue to value printed brochures. So GM prints them on Forest Stewardship
Council-certified paper. The goal is to protect wildlife habitat, ensure clean water and to keep forests healthy.
It’s just one more way that GM integrates green thinking into every aspect of its activities. Just like you.

THE ALL-NEW 2009 G8
ARE YOU READY FOR THIS? New from the ground up, G8 takes Pontiac’s performance heritage and runs with it. There’s power to
burn. In fact, G8 GT is the most powerful car you can buy for under $40,000.* But G8 is much more than a one-dimensional muscle
car. G8 balances raw force with pinpoint control, thanks to a very sophisticated chassis. There’s also a startlingly spacious cabin,
advanced technology, thoughtful amenities and a long list of safety features. Put it all together and you’ve got a ride you’ll never
forget. G8. If you’re ready, the performance is about to begin. pontiac.gm.ca

DESIGN
A GREAT CONCEPT, BRILLIANTLY EXECUTED. The story of the new G8 starts with an ambitious goal: to
create a spacious, sophisticated sedan with the kind of athletic performance and responsive handling
traditionally only available in much more expensive cars. To that end, the engineers developed a rigid new
rear-wheel-drive architecture, then fi tted it with premium suspension and brake systems and a choice
of muscular V6 or V8 engines. The designers added a bold, wheels-to-the-corners body with a dynamic
rising beltline and fl ared wheelwells that deliver a clear performance message. Then the interior team
took over to create a cabin that’s driver-focused yet warm and welcoming to every occupant. The result?
A car that Edmunds’ Inside Line calls “... a world class performance sedan.”
INTERIOR PERSONAL SPACE FOR FIVE VERY FORTUNATE PERSONS. For passengers, other driver’s cars can sometimes seem like a penalty box. Not G8. Rear passengers can stretch out with more legroom than they’d enjoy in a BMW 5 Series or an Audi A6.* G8’s rear hip- and shoulder-room measurements rank with the best in its class as well, so even long road trips are a pleasure. Entertainment is fi rst-rate, thanks to standard sound system features like XM Satellite Radio™, a Blaupunkt® sound system and an auxiliary input jack for your iPod®. The G8 interior also overachieves when it comes to craftsmanship and materials. Fit and fi nish in the cabin are world class and the available leather seating surfaces feature hides that have been specially tanned for an exceptionally supple feel. *Based on latest published competitive information available at time of printing.

Installation Instructions
Dynatech highly recommends hiring a professional installer, one that is familiar
with the installation of off-road exhaust products. Headers are designed to increase the
performance of your vehicle, and as such are designed differently than your stock
exhaust system. Extra care must be taken to ensure that hoses, cables, electrical lines,
fuel lines, hydraulic lines, or any other objects are not in contact with, or located too
close to your installed system. (Nothing should be allowed to touch or be located too
close to the header/exhaust system.)
Dynatech competition exhaust products are not covered under any warranty
either expressed or implied.
Dynatech is not responsible for any exhaust product that has been improperly installed,
crashed, welded to, or modified in any way. Dynatech does not cover damage to any
related components. Neither the seller nor Dynatech will be responsible or liable for
any loss, damage, or injury resulting from the direct or indirect use of this product or
inability by the purchaser to determine proper use or application of this product.
Dynatech competition exhaust products are built for off-highway use only and are not
intended for use on street legal, pollution controlled vehicles.
The Dynatech Team takes pride in providing the utmost in quality and
performance. Should you have a concern about the product you receive, please contact
Dynatech Customer Service.
Congratulations on your purchase of the Dynatech / SuperMaXX exhaust
system for the 2008/09 Pontiac G8. We believe, and think you will agree that this
system is second to none in quality, performance, and ease of installation.
Please read and understand each of the steps involved with the removal of your
old system and the installation of your new header system prior to getting started.
While slight variations in either the header or the vehicle may cause minor
differences in the exact order of steps or the exact positions of components listed
in this document, the following narrative and pictorial information should guide
you during the removal and installation process to a completely satisfactory
install of your new header system.
Note: These products are intended for racing and off-road applications. Not legal for sale or use in the
State of California, nor in states which have adopted California emission standards.

Please take a few moments to review this manual thoroughly before you begin work: Make a quick parts check
to make certain your kit is complete (see shipper parts list in this package). If you discover shipping damage or
shortage, please call our offi ce immediately. Take a look at exactly what you are going to need in terms of tools,
time, and experience. Review our limited warranty with care. When unpacking the supercharger kit DO NOT lift the
supercharger assembly by the black plastic bypass actuator. This is pre-set from the factory and can be altered if used
as a lifting point!
Caution: Relieve the fuel system pressure before servicing fuel system components in order to reduce the risk of fi re
and personal injury. After relieving the system pressure, a small amount of fuel may be released when servicing the
fuel lines or connections. In order to reduce the risk of personal injury, cover the regulator and fuel line fi ttings with a
shop towel before disconnecting. This will catch any fuel that may leak out. Place the towel in an approved container
when the job is complete. Use only premium fuel, 91 octane or better. Use only premium fuel, 91 octane or better.
Magna Charger systems are manufactured to produce about 20 RWHP per pound of boost at sea level. High altitudes
will produce different numbers.
Our Magna Charger kits are designed for engines in good mechanical condition only. Installation on high mileage
or damaged engines is not recommended and may result in engine failure, for which we are not responsible. Magna
Charger is not responsible for the engine or consequential damages.
Aftermarket engine recalibration devices that modify fuel and spark curve (including, but not limited to programmers)
are not recommended and may cause engine damage or failure. Use of non-Magna Charger approved programming
will void all warranties. If you have any questions, call us.
After you fi nish your installation and road test your vehicle, please fi ll out and mail in the limited warranty card, so we
can add you to our fi les (this is important for your protection).
A new GM fuel fi lter is recommended at the time of supercharger installation
Stock spark plugs and stock plug gap is recommended
